Upcoming LCA to go Workshop in Brussels
LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is one of the most effective ways to analyse and improve a product from an environmental point of view. Often the time and costs involved to carry out a full LCA, stop companies from implementing this useful method. The LCA to go
project addresses exactly this issue and has developed sector specific, simple to use, free online tools to overcome these barriers. The tools were developed in cooperation with and especially for SMEs in the EU and are available for free after registration.
To disseminate the tools and give companies a first, hands on experience, the LCA to go project is organising a Workshop in Brussels on . Participation is free and companies from the sectors Industrial machines, Bio-based Plastics and Sensors (are invited to)/(will get a chance to) test the tools, analyse their products and interact with the developers to understand the features and underlying method. Interested companies can register their participation at http://www.sirris.be/agendaItem.aspx?id=17300 or sign in to the tools at http://tool.lca2go.eu/users/sign_in.
