News from LCA to go

The Vienna University of Technology will present the latest developments of the LCA to go web-tool for machine tools at the VDW Blue Competence booth at the EMO Hannover. The EMO is the worldwide biggest fair for metalworking and takes place from the 16^th to 21^st September 2013.

The LCA to go web-tool uses a simplified environmental assessment methodology taking the entire life cycle of a machine tool into account. The assessment result highlights the most relevant components and lists possible improvement options. At the EMO the tool will be presented using a practical case study and the visitors will be able to test it for themselves.
