News from LCA to go

Warsaw conference “Ecology in Electronics” discusses assessment approaches and SME perspectives.

The VI^th International Conference “Ecology in Electronics” hosted by the Tele and Radio Research Institute is one of the first dissemination events centered around the LCA to go findings. Besides high level research presentations on organic light emitting diodes, nanomaterials for thick film technologies and as solder additives LCA to go coordinator Fraunhofer gave a presentation on “The Art of Being Green: How Small and Medium Enterprises Excel with Life Cycle Approaches” and LCA to go partner ELDOS presented “The problems of printed circuit boards life cycle assessment”. The conference reader will be available later this year.
